Twice In One Day

So, I've been working part time at express again just for the time being, and I developed a great story just by waking up and going to work. As the bus pulled into the mall and as I approached my stop, I noticed something. A DOLLAR!!! Yes indeed ONE DOLLAR BILL, well, I suppose at least that's what it appeared to be from the bus view. I got off the bus and decided to take the long way to Express so that I could go get the money I saw. On the way back to the scene all I could think about was: What if it wasn't A DOLLAR? What if it were TWENTY DOLLARS!!! Whatever it's mine now. Well, so much for that because as I walked across the street to grab the cash I watched this old man place his car in reverse step out of his vehicle and pick up the money and drive off. SHIT... I said to myself, and just went into work and went about my beautiful day.

Later that night I went to dinner with my buddy Tara and on the way home as we turned off Blue Course onto South gate(in the dark) I spotted money once again. Twice In One Day, no way this can't be true. Mid-conversation I stopped Tara and told her to stop the car. Why? She said; I answered that was money. What? Tara says; money, I answered, there was money in the street. Because I'm one to believe that everything happens for a reason I had so many thoughts going through my head. I jumped in the car and explained to Tara the story of how I spotted the Dollar earlier that day and she also thought it was crazy.

So one dollar got away just so that another may appear later. And lets not forget about the dollar that I gave dude man the other day on the bus. Remember? As I write this it has come to me, there is indeed a meaning to all of this. Out of the kindness of my heart I gave that guy $1.25 to ride the and in return not only did the guy find me and repaid me with a dollar but God may have been impressed with my kindness and tried to reward me for my good deed. Only that old man stole my reward so another reward was placed in a spot that only Josephine(with those great eyes) could have seen to remind me of the gift of giving. OK, OK I don't really know the meaning of all of this but it"s was worth the try.

"Give, and it shall be given unto you; Good measure, press down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom, for with the same measure that ye measure it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38
