For the past month I've been living in limbo waiting on my apartment and I must say I've been doing well do to the circumstances. Two weeks living here, two weeks living there, basically my life has been pretty hectic. Despite all the craziness I found myself taking the much needed time out to remember to be grateful for my friends for lending a hand. And grateful to GOD for placing such great friends in my life.
Monday night as I got ready for bed I decided to pray. I prayed for patience, I prayed for strenght, I prayed for courage. I said two months ago that everything would work itself out and it would all come together because long ago I said this apartment was mine and I would have it no other way. Tuesday afternoon as I ate my lunch I received a call from Park Crest saying that all my paper work was finally done and I could move in whenever I had the time. I calmly told the woman thank you and when I hung up the phone I could do nothing but smile from ear to ear and take the time to tell GOD, Thank You for teaching me patience, Thank You for teaching me to believe in him more than I ever have, Thank You for coming through for me once again.
For once in my life I can truly say that I have casted all my cares upon GOD and allowed him to handle the rest. I pick up my keys tomorrow and I'm so excited I just don't know how to hide it. Remember that "FAITH is the substance of things hoped for."
