Hair Troubles!!!

Last week I went to Giant after work because I needed a few hair products. I was definitely in a hurry and needed to be in and out. As I turned the corner to walk down the aisle labeled shampoo I quickly remembered that Giant does not carry BLACK HAIR PRODUCTS. Sure you may think that I am exaggerating just.....a little, but I am so happy to tell you that there is no exaggeration on my part. Now, I will do my part and take some of the blame for all of this madness because I indeed knew this before deciding on going to Giant anyway. Sorry it slipped my my! But do you think the person in charge of the ordering for this store can say the same or what. Yes, people this pissed me off so I kindly stopped an employee and kindly asked the BIG question. And the conversation went a bit like this.

Me: Excuse me ma'am. May I please ask you a question?
Employee: Sure
Me: Why is it that your store does not carry any BLACK hair products?
Employee: uhhh.......you know I guess I was ignorant to the fact that we use different products.
Me thinking: REALLY???
Me: Well, I see that you carry every Pantene product except for the one for women of color.

Employee: WOW...that's strange. Well, you are right because I actually used that one before because of how course and thick my hair is and I loved it, but we stopped getting it.
Me thinking: My point exactly.
Me: I mean Walmart doesn't have a huge selection but they at least have something. I don't think you should go nuts and order tons of black products but you could at least have the basics. Like hair grease for example.
Employee: Well, I will be sure to bring that to my managers attention.
Me: Thanks, have a good day.

Hey, I had no intentions on being difficult because I understand that I live in a predominately white area, but you can at least have the basics for a sista. So with all this being said I am for sure curious as to how many Giants out there carry absolutely no black hair products? And If there are other women out there who have or may run into this same problem I will say that for a quick fix NEXXUS will work wonders on your hair. It may be a bit more expensive product but I say definitely a product worth buying.
